German actor, collaborator and friend of Rainer Werner Fassbinder during 15 years, has worked in theatre, cinema and TV. From the antitheatre founded with RWF to assistant director in the filmic testament of RWF, Querelle. He became his fetish actor. He has also worked with Daniel Schmid, Werner Schroeter, Doris Dorrie, Mika Kaurismaki and Hans Jurgen Syberberg, performing the mythical Ludwig, requiem for a virgin king.
