He was born in Valls (1953) Catalunya (EU), and studied cinematography in Berlin and in the Centro Sperimentale di Cinecittà di Roma. He worked with the filmmakers Silvano Agosti, Marco Bellocchio, Tinto Brass and Michelangelo Antonioni. Back in Catalonia, shot Morbus (1983) and many other awarded films. He is a founder of Acràsia Corp. S.L. distribution company, and teacher in several Cinema's Schools. He is also a member of the Board of Catalan Filmmakers Association.
